Innermost....
Sep. 14th, 2010 10:39 amSo by now, I'm sure readers of this blog have established their own views about its author.
Likely most view me as some kind of racist or neo-Nazi freak.
That couldn't be further from the truth.
While some would consider some of my views of other groups of people to be rather unpopular, they are rarely aimed only toward any particular race, except when given reason to.
I'm not racist...I hate everyone equally! Including people of my own race who act like idiots and make stupid choices.
I'm less concerned about race, that is a waste of time.
I am much more concerned with the preservation of my cultural heritage, that seems to be drowned out by more popular trends in mass media and the huge unchecked influx of immigrants into central European countries and America.
Is it really that difficult and unpopular for someone of let's say, Nordic heritage to take the time to learn about the Viking Eddas(sagas), traditional food, folk costume, or anything relating to their cultural history? The stories and traditions that shaped who their ancestors were, and who they really are.
With that said, on a daily basis however, Europeans and Euro. Americans are under a constant barrage of media-popular ethnocentric attitudes and trends, stemming from other cultures besides their own.
In reaction to this, if they react at all, many attempt assimilation into one of these other cultures or ethnic groups, because it seems more popular Safe. politically correct.
Or, they create a "White" culture that is, in itself, devoid of any real culture or ethnicity at all. It is a strange broth of overt conservatives, Martha Stewart, Pottery Barn and in the extreme, the racist skinhead. It is devoid of knowledge of their true heritage.
Or it ends up in bastardized subcultures like hippies and rednecks, to name a few.
Most of the world's population often makes the mistake of assuming that Europeans, or that dreaded term "Whites", have no ethnicity. That only African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, etc. are ethnic. This is due to the fact that they are allowed to display their true cultural and ethnic traits regularly, blatantly, and often. Whereas Europeans are afraid that if they do the same, they will be suspected of racially motivated white supremacist views.
Of course it is also the popular view that racism is purely a European or "White" trait, when in fact, no ethnic group on this planet is innocent of racism.
I personally have experienced and seen more racism and bigotry from African Americans, Jews, Asians and Hispanics, etc. than European Americans. Yet they get away with it, because they are not "White".
There is no such thing as "reverse racism"; shit is still shit, no matter which little monkey flings it.
