Von Ribbentrop's Watch
Sep. 13th, 2010 11:42 am"It didn’t occur to me at that time that this watch would attract dormant Nazis, who would pay a fortune just to get a little closer to a regime that they wished had survived and flourished...I then did as Maurice suggested and put the watch away in a safe and there it will remain. No fascist or Nazi sympathiser will ever get their hands on it."
AAhahahaha! Dormant Nazis?!
That has got to be the most hilarious thing I have heard all day.
So damn ridiculous.

What would I do? Probably keep it, it's a nice watch.
Or perhaps try to find a museum with a good collection of WWII German items, and donate it. Mostly to keep it out of the hands of not so "dormant" crazy people, bent on destroying pieces of history, because they somehow think Nazi evil lurks within inanimate objects...waiting to trigger all those dormant Nazis into action.
:-\
I simply adore the idea of writing a satirical play about it though, ha!
