If you are a friend of a person who is in a committed relationship with someone,
Don't suggest he go about "womanizing" or the like, even in a joking manner.
On top of it being an insult to their partner, it's an insult to their vows to each other.
It just makes you look like a socially inept douche bag.
There is nothing funny about it.
It has nothing to do with weather or not someone is feeling insecure.
Unless the person you are directing it toward is single, the suggestion is just insulting and sleazy all on it's own.
